1820 MAIL CARRIED PRIVATELY TO LONDON WITH CIRCULAR FRAMED 'MS' MISSORT MARK (L562a). Fine letter, some creasing and soiling, from Bath to 'Richd. Napier Esqr., 4 Montague Street, Rufsell Square London' dated June 15th 1820 and carried privately to London. Put into the London Twopenny Post at Piccadilly with light strike 'T.P/Piccadilly' receiver's hand stamp in black (L504), also good strike hand stamp '2' charge mark (L602) and fine strike of the very scarce small circular 'MS' missort hand stamp in black. Also on front manuscript 'West' (Westminster) to aid delivery. (Ref 125706).
