    1824 MAIL KENSINGTON TO LINCOLNS INN WITH VARIOUS CHARGE MARKS AND UNFRAMED 'M S' LONDON TWOPENNY POST MISSORTED HAND STAMP (L563a?). Wrapper, small fault at foot, from Kensington to 'Bourchier Esqr., Stone Buildings, Lincoln Inn', on reverse fair strike 'KENSINGTON/10 MY 1824' Country Sorting Office date stamp (L521). On front fine strike hand stamp '2' charge mark in black, crossed through with twelve bar zig zag hand stamp (L658) and replaced by good strike hand stamp '3' charge mark (L618) where letter has been transferred for delivery from country area to the town area of the London Twopenny Post. Also on front fine strike of the small unframed and very scarce 'M S' missorted hand stamp (L536a?) used four years earlier than previously recorded. Good usage. (Ref 125705).
