1890 PENNY POSTAGE JUBILEE, CARD WITH SUPERB IMPRESSION 'TUBE POST 3D' HAND STAMP, SUGGESTED TO BE OF PROOF OF STATUS. Piece of white matt card with curved corners, 114 x 89, on front very fine strike 'CROWN/PENNY POST JUBILEE/2 JULY 1890/TUBE POST/3D REPLY/SOUTH KENSINGTON MUSEUM' hand stamp in purple. On front at top 'Question' and at foot 'Reply'. On reverse two small tone spots and also pencil manuscript 'Poste Restante'. Status unknown. (Ref 139503).
