Envelope used in London to 'S Prentice, Solr, 238 Whitechapel Road' with good to fine 2d blue pl.5 L.C.14 (SG34) lettered PH, centred slightly to right but fine perforations and tied fine strike London '22' Inland Office numeral. Stamp shows minor constant variety 'COLOURED ROLLER FLAW 'W' OF TWO' (Spec F6f). On reverse good strike 'GRENVILLE ST' circular udc in blue (22mm) and London date stamp NO 18 57. (Ref 139444).
