Printed letter from the 'Stamp-Office, Somerset Place, London, Legacy Duty Department' dated 6th March 1832 to 'Mrs Betty Barley, Shillingstone, Dorsetshire' charged '10', on reverse London date stamp MR 7 1832. Letter some repair as a result of opening. On front fine strike 'Missent to' hand stamp of Dorchester (DT254) and alongside fine strike DORCHESTER date stamp MA 8 1832, just clear of repair. Letter redirected to 'Hinton St Mary, Sturminster, Blandford'. (Ref 126670).
