    1779 'PARTINGTON' LONDON GENERAL POST RECEIVER'S HAND STAMP OF RICHARD PARTINGTON OF HOLBORN ON LETTER LONDON TO BRIDGWATER, SOMERSET. Letter, slight re-enforcement, from Bartletts Buildings, London to 'Mr. Abraham Stevens, Atty. at Law, Stowey near Bridgwater, Somerset' dated 6th Nov 1779 and charged '4'. On reverse very fine strike 'Partington' straight line hand stamp of the London General Post receiver Richard Partington who was a stationer at 58 Holborn Hill and also a General Post receiver using this straight line hand stamp 1771 until 1782.
