Envelope from the Crimean War to 'Mrs Miller, 24 Upper Gloucester St, Dublin, Ireland' with good used vertical strip of three Die 1 1d S.C.16 (SG17) lettered KI LI MI, centred low due to MISPLACED SHEET FEED. Stamps slight perforation faults, tied fine strikes London '43' Inland Office numeral. On reverse indistinct 'BRITISH ARMY/POST OFFICE' date stamp and Dublin JY 19 1855. Good usage. (Ref 142819).
