1840-1841 MATCHED TRIO 1D BLACK PL.8 (SG2), ID RED STATE ONE (SG7) AND 1D RED STATE TWO (SPEC AS54) LETTERED EG. Fine used 1840 1d black pl.8 (SG2) lettered EG in state one, four close to fine margins and neat black Maltese cross, matched with good used 1d red (SG7) also state one, small thin spot but four good margins and cancelled black Maltese crosses. Both showing 'O' flaw and vertical guide line NE square. Also a good to fine 1d red STATE TWO (Spec AS54), very close margin but just clear at NW otherwise fine margins with fine strike black Maltese cross and WITHOUT THE 'O' FLAW. A good trio.
