Hemming and Son, Redditch, England' with fine 1d red plate 1B (SG7) lettered RD, four close to fine margins tied fine strike normal Maltese cross of Greenock. Stamp shows 7 and 10 o'clock ray flaws and 'LEFT FRAME LINE RE-CUT' (Spec AS6h). On reverse 'GREENOCK' date stamp 11 MAY 1841. (Ref 77309).
