MISSENT TO WORCESTER (WO927)/PL.157(OJ). 1853 envelope Manchester to Broadway Worcs (Phillipps correspondence) with fine 1d imperf (SG8) pl.157 lettered OJ with four good to large margins cancelled "498" of Manchester. On front good strike of the boxed "MISSENT/TO/WORCESTER" type E hand stamp in red (WO927) back stamped MANCHESTER FE 15 1853. Stamp shows NE frame extension and NNE re-cut. (Ref 67229).
