1848 EXCEPTIONAL ILLUSTRATED PRINTED LETTER REQUESTING CHURCH FUNDS FROM FALCARRAGH, COUNTY DONEGAL TO KEIGHLEY, YORKSHIRE. Very fine entire letter from Fallcarragh, County Donegal to 'R Clough Esq, Keighley, Yorkshire' with 1d (SG8) lettered NG, cut into tied good strike '188' Irish numeral of Dunfanaghy. On front good to fine strike 'Falcarragh/Dunfanaghy' local receiver's handstamp in green, on reverse 'DUNFANAGHY' date stamp OC 17 1848. Within is a very fine printed letter requesting donations towards the erection of a church for local use with exception printed image at top 'THE INTENDED SITE OF A CHURCH IN THE DUNLEWEY DISTRICT'.
