The postally used examples comprise: 21st March 1844 Liverpool to Manchester cancelled Liverpool Maltese cross, 1847 x 2 usages from Portsmouth to London and Colchester to Cambridge, 1848 usage from Yatton Keynell, Chippenham to London, 1852 Aberystwith to Haverfordwest, 1857 envelope Norwich to London with 2d blue cut-out, 1878 from Longton, Staffs to Germany uprated ½d Bantam (SG48), 1882 used in Birmingham with 'BIRMINGHAM' squared circle, 1882 Liverpool to Hamburg uprated with ½d pale green (SG164), 1890 example used Penny Postage Jubilee with 'South Kensington' cancellation, 1894 used in London with 'BEDFORD ST' dated cancellation, 1905 registered usage Ipswich to Saxony, Germany uprated with 2d pale blue registration cut-out and ½d green newspaper wrapper stamp and lastly 1965 usage commemorating 125 years after issue posted within Birmingham.
