1840 MULREADY PROGRESSIVE DIE PROOF OF MASTER DESIGN IN PREVIOUSLY UNRECORDED STATE AND LATER THAN MP7. A very fine Mulready die proof, 245 x 168 mm of the master design in a previously unrecorded state with engraving of design in full size, in black on white wove paper, proof showing small parts of the front design uncleared and without inscription at foot. However the top and bottom panels are now TOTALLY CLEARED and not solid. A very rare proof of exhibition quality unlisted by SG and in a later state than MP7. (Ref 144636).
