Fine wrapper from Darlington 'To J G Pease, H M Whitwell, Kendal' with two very fine 2d blues pl.6 with the much scarcer PERFORATION 16 (SG36a) lettered DF DE tied fine strikes 'DARLINGTON/233' duplex FE 2 60. On reverse 'KENDAL' date stamp FE 3 1860, on front manuscript 'Above 2oz' with manuscript charge '4'. Very attractive, very scarce usage. (Ref 144620).
