CIRCA 1890 VALENTINE 'INTEMPERANCE' ENVELOPE DERAEDEMAEKER REPRINT. A fine unused circa 1890 Deraedemaeker reprint Valentine 'Intemperance' envelope in black on blue wove paper. At left are scenes of drunkenness and poverty after Hogarth, at right is shown prosperity and happiness arising from Temperance. Inscription reads 'INTEMPERANCE IS THE BANE OF SOCIETY'.
