A fine unused circa 1890 Deraedemaeker reprint Valentine 'OCEAN POSTAGE' envelope in black on grey wove paper with the image of 'MERCURY' at upper left and at upper right space for a postage stamp, also illustrated are images of peace including a dove and a pair of clasped hands. Inscription reads 'BRITAIN! FROM THEE THE WORLD EXPECTS AN OCEAN PENNY POSTAGE TO MAKE HER CHILDREN ONE FRATERNITY'. (Ref 144586).
