A superb unused ORIGINAL example of the 1840 Spooner Caricature No.6 in black on white wove paper depicting scenes of joviality with a smiling Britannia smoking a pipe and various images of people receiving letters, mostly unwelcome ... 'An unpaid letter for me?', 'Umph a begging letter', 'A letter from my scamp of a Newphew, wants Money I suppose' etc. A superb caricature. (Ref 144534).
