1841 MAIL LONDON TO BLACKBURN 1d RED PLATE EIGHT (SG7) x FOUR. Fine entire letter from London 3rd Sept 1841 to 'William Feilden Esq, M.P., Feniscowles, Near Blackburn' with four 1d red plate eight (SG7) lettered DB DE DH DG, touched in places but mainly good to fine and tied fine strikes black Maltese cross of London. All stamps clearly show the 'O FLAW'. On reverse London date stamp 3 SEP 1841 and 'BLACKBURN' date stamp SP 4 1841 in blue. Unusual franking from plate eight. (Ref 144483).
