A fine to very fine 1d Mulready wrapper, stereo unknown, REFOLDED INTO AN ENVELOPE OPENING AT LEFT, from London to 'G.W.Wood Esq, Singleton Lodge, Manchester' cancelled very fine strike red Maltese cross of London, alongside manuscript 'Recd Dec 1'. On reverse London date stamp NO 30 184. A most unusual usage. (Ref 144412).
