1823 MAIL LONDON TO WHITNEY COURT, HEREFORDSHIRE, MISSENT, WITH INSPECTOR'S MARK. Wrapper, some creasing from London Dec 3 1823 to 'Tomkyns Dew Esq, Whitney Court, Herefordshire' charged '10', evidently missorted with manuscript 'Mifsent to Hereford' and alongside fine strike star shaped Inspector's mark in red. On reverse two strikes London date stamp DE 3 1823 with different codes and 'HEREFORD/141' circular mileage mark dated DE 4 1823. (Ref 144366).
