Large complete letter, slight re-enforcement on reverse from 'Doctors Commons' London 6 Dec 1850 to 'Wm Morgan Esq, Solr, Birmingham' superb used block of four 2d blue pl.4 (SG14) lettered EA EB FA FB, four fine to large margins and tied neat strikes London '21' Inland Office Numeral. On front manuscript 'Regd letter 6 Paid' and London 'PAID' date stamp DE 6 1850, stamps paying 8d 4 ounce postage. A most attractive and rare usage. (Ref 144217).
