1832 POST OFFICE RECEIPT OF REFUND OF OVERCHARGE OF POSTAGE ON REDIRECTED FREE FRANK LETTER DEVONPORT TO CHELTENHAM. Fine printed receipt, 106 x 74 mm in respect of a refund of overcharging postage on a redirected free frank letter Devonport to Cheltenham 'REceived the 16th Jany 1832 of the Postm'. of Cheltenham the sum of one shilling and 10d overcharged on a single Letter from Devonport and redirected from Henley on Thames directed to Lt Col Rochford MP which was taxed 1s 10d'. Very unusual. (Ref 144192).
