Fine penny pink wrapper sent registered mail Sleaford, Lincs to 'The Sheffield and Rotherham Banking Coy, Bakewell' cancelled very fine strike '716' numeral of Sleaford. Penny pink paying postage and manuscript '6' in red paying registered fee confirmed by London 'PAID' date stamp 14 JY 1848. Also on front 'SLEAFORD' date stamp JY 13 1848 in blue and 'BAKEWELL' date stamp JY 15 1848 in black. Fine and very scarce usage. (Ref 144183).
