1877 £1 TELEGRAPH BROWN-LILAC OVERPRINTED 'SPECIMEN' TYPE 9 TWICE ALSO 'SPECIMEN' TYPE 11 (T17s/L236s) UNUSED. Unused 1877 £1 telegraph brown-lilac overprinted 'SPECIMEN' type 9 twice, both vertical one at left reading downwards, the other at right reading upwards. Also overprinted 'SPECIMEN' type 11 over Queen's head (T17s/L236s). Latter overprint punctures stamp, several slight soiled perforations, part o.g. but rare and not seen by us before. (Ref 144071).
