A good unused, front only 1840 'FORES'S COMIC ENVELOPE No.1' by John Leech depicting Britannia dispatching her messengers, the lion with an eye patch and a monkey upon his back in uniform with a cocked hat. At left references to China and opium, at right a planter with negro attending to a cask and at lower left and right post boys are making haste. (Ref 143930).
