1841 ONE PENNY MULREADY ENVELOPE IPSWICH TO DUBLIN WAFER SEAL ON REVERSE. Good 1d Mulready envelope, slight soiling Ipswich to 'Mrs Hubard, 7 Herbert Street, Dublin', stereo A179, fine strike red Maltese cross (slightly oxidised). On reverse 'IPSWICH' date stamp JA 26 1841, Dublin date stamp JA 28 41 and very fine circular gold on black wafer seal depicting a snail with text' ALWAYS AT HOME'. Fine and very unusual.
