1847 MAIL GREAT MALVERN, WORCS TO LONDON 1d (SG8) WAFER SEAL ON REVERSE. Envelope with letter Great Malver to 'Miss Denham, 100 Bermondsey St, Southwark, London' 1d (SG8), touched in several places tied fine strike '497' numeral of Great Malvern. On reverse 'GREAT MALVERN' date stamp JU 1 1847 and very fine wafer seal black on grey 'Without carefulness'. Letter of a very religious nature criticising the Wesleyan movement and praising the Plymouth Brethern. Good usage.
