Penny pink envelope, slight creasing, Glasgow to 'Mifs Atherstone, 33 Queen's Road, St. John's Wood, London' cancelled '159' numeral of Glasgow. On reverse good strike 'HOPE STREET' straight line receiver's handstamp in blue, 'GLASGOW' date stamp JUN 7 1849 and attractive hand coloured wafer seal depicting a dog delivering a letter.
