CIRCA 1890 VALENTINE 'TEMPERANCE' DERAEDEMAEKER REPRINT IN BLACK ON GREY WOVE PAPER. A very fine unused circa 1890 Deraedemaeker reprint James Valentine 'Temperance' envelope in black on grey wove paper. At left are scenes of drunkeness and poverty after Hogarth, at right is shown prosperity and happiness arising from Temperance. Inscription reads 'INTOXICATING DRINKS ARE THE BANE AND CURSE OF SOCIETY'. (Ref 143853).
