CIRCA 1890 VALENTINE 'PEACE' DERAEDEMAEKER REPRINT IN BLACK ON GREY WOVE PAPER. Unused circa 1890 James Valentine 'Peace' Deraedemaeker reprint in black on grey wove paper, soiled at upper right. At the top of design above the clasped hands is Peace receiving homage from various races surrounded by the flags of various nations. Below this inscription reads 'NATION SHALL NOT LIFT UP SWORD AGAINST NATION NEITHER SHALL THEY LEARN WAR ANY MORE'. In centre below are figures from four quarters of the globe and images of Cornucopia. (Ref 143852).
