CIRCA 1890 VALENTINE 'COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL' DERAEDEMAEKER REPRINT IN BLACK ON BLUE WOVE PAPER. A fine unused circa 1890 Deraedemaeker reprint James Valentine 'Commercial/Industrial' envelope in black on blue wove paper. Design references Commerce and Industry with image of the 1851 Great Exhibition building at upper right and Britannia at centre surrounded by emblems of manufacture, arts sciences etc, receiving representatives from other nations. Inscription reads 'BRITANNIA ENCOURAGES THE INDUSTRY OF THE GLOBE'. (Ref 143846).
