Samuel Parker and Son, No 38 Back Lane, Dublin' with good used 1d pl.35 (SG8) lettered RB, four good margins but scissor into design at upper left cancelled superb strike Eyercourt Maltese cross, list by SG as Spec B1t but whilst a very fine Maltese cross cannot really be considered as distinctive. Although this example is not tied it is from the Samuel Parker correspondence where all other Eyrecourt usages are addressed to. Spike and filing folds well clear of stamp. On front 'EYRECOURT' date stamp SE 13 1843. (Ref 143822).
