1840 ORIGINAL SPOONER CARICATURE THE 'MUSICAL ENVELOPE' No.7. A good original example of the 1840 Spooner caricature No.7 the 'MUSICAL ENVELOPE', part address written but not sent. Caricature headed 'All by Notes' with Britannia playing a fiddle with her spear and a pair of bellows, the lion holding the music. Two people at upper right singing a love duet with images of Semibreves and Crotchets described as 'Musical Notes' and 'Dancing Notes' etc. Vertical filing fold but a clever and amusing caricature.
