Good used example, front only, 'WHITAKER'S ALMANACK' illustrated envelope which closely imitates the Mulready design, used by Whitaker to promote his business. Used from London to 'Mr J Kirby, 54 Tithebarn St, Liverpool' with 1d pl.115 (SG43) lettered PA tied London duplex NO 26 68. Inscription reads 'The Best and the Most Complete ever published in England'. Some soiling but priced accordingly. (Ref 143753).
