CIRCA 1820 COACHING INN RECEIPT 'HEMBROUGH, GEORGE, COMMERCIAL WAKEFIELD'. A very fine Coaching inn receipt 107 x 154 mm, usual creasing from the George Inn, Westgate, Wakefield headed 'HEMBROUGH, GEORGE. Commercial WAKEFIELD. FAMILY HOTEL OPPOSITE THE OLD CHURCH'. At top fine illustration presumably of a King George upon his mount afore his army. Receipt in respect of 'Wine and Tea, Bed and Papers also Breakfast' totalling 7s 10d with additional charges in respect of Waiter and boots. Apparently this inn Horsed the True Blue Coach to Leeds every day. Very fine. (Ref 143707).
