1817 COACHING INN RECEIPT 'T. DAVIES, CROWN AND ANCHOR INN, BANGOR'. A very fine coaching inn receipt, 91 x 163 mm from 'T. DAVIES, Crown and Anchor Inn, BANGOR', inscription below reads 'Capel Curig 15, Conway 15, Carnarvon 9, Aber 6'. Receipt dated 15th July 1817 in respect of 6 dinners, 4 bottles of sherry, 2 of Port, Rum and Brandy Ale, Porter and Washing totalling £2 4s 6d with additions in respect of wine, waiter and horse. A very fine receipt. Also 1817 letter from Gwyndy to 'Mr. Tho. Davies, Crown and Anchor, Bangor' charged '4'. A very fine pair of items relating to this Coaching inn. (2 items).
