Entire letter, slightly fragile from Newmarket dated December 16 1836 to 'Mr Robert Beck, Buffalo, Erie County, State of New York, North America' post paid with manuscript 'P 1/1' and additional manuscript 'Paid to New York'. On front London ship letter handstamp, fine strike boxed 'Newmarket/Penny Post' handstamp in black (SK ??) and New York date stamp JAN 25. (Ref 143624).
