1841 MAIL TRURO, CORNWALL TO ST COLUMB 1d BLACK PL.6 (SG2)(IF). Fine wrapper used in Cornwall from Truro to 'Mefsrs. Paynter and Whitford, St Columb' with good 1d black pl.6 (SG2) lettered IF, cut into at left otherwise fine margins and tied light strike red Maltese cross. On front 'TRURO' date stamp JA 20 1841 in blue. Good provincial usage. (Ref 143604).
