Fine used 1840 1d black pl.8 state 1 (SG2) (Spec AS49) lettered NF, four fine margins and red Maltese cross. Matched with fine 1d red (SG7) lettered NF in state 1 (AS51), four close to fine margins and cancelled fine strike black Maltese cross, both state 1 clearly show 'O' FLAW. Also good used example 1d red in state 2 (Spec AS55), lettered NF, vertical crease, good to fine four margins, black Maltese cross and WITHOUT THE 'O' FLAW following plate repair (3 Items).
