1855 DIE 2 1D PL.23 IMPERFORATE IMPRIMATUR LETTERED AH IN THE PLUM SHADE. A very fine imperforate top marginal imprimatur from 1855 Die 2 1d pl.23 lettered AH with four fine margins and large part top sheet margin with marginal inscription. Small natural printing flaw above 'P' of penny. Imprimatur printed in the rare PLUM shade and these imprimaturs are recognised as a colour standard for this. A RARE AND IMPORTANT IMPRIMATUR.
