1858 DIE 2 1D PL.58 PERFORATION 16 (SG36) FINE TO VERY FINE MINT BLOCK OF FOUR. A fine to very fine unused block of four 1858 Die 2 1d rose-red pl.58 PERFORATION 16 (SG36) lettered CB CC DB and DC, CB with constant variety 'SEVERAL MARKS ON SHOULDER'. Light bend on reverse but very fine colour and large part original gum. Only six mint blocks SG36 recorded, plate 37 x 3, and single blocks from plates 42, 58 and 59, this being the unique block from plate 58. Ex Beresford and Gawaine Baillie. Superb and important block.
