1662 MAIL LONDON TO LICHFIELD WITHOUT LONDON BISHOP MARK. A fine letter from Zacharia Babbington in London dated 17th April 1662 'To his good friend Sydney Shipton att his houfe in Hamptall-Ridware neare Lichfield' manuscript 'pt pd 3d'. Without the London Bishop mark on reverse, one of the few outgoing London letters without this date stamp. Ex Barrie Jay collection. (Ref 141683).
