1840-1841 MATCHED PAIR 1D BLACK PL.10 (SG2) AND 1D RED (SG7) LETTERED NE. Fine used 1840 1d black (SG2) lettered NE, four close to fine margins and cancelled fine strike black Maltese cross. Matched with very fine 1d red (SG7) also fine margins and cancelled very fine strike black Maltese cross. Both stamps clearly show 'O' flaw and tall narrow 'N'. Attractive matched pair. (Ref 141453).
