1853 BRADSHAW AND BLACKLOCK 'OCEAN PENNY POSTAGE' ENVELOPE USED HATFIELD TO ST. ALBANS WITH 1D IMPERF (SG8). Good used Bradshaw and Blacklock 'OCEAN PENNY POSTAGE' printed envelope depicting a steam ship carrying mail from Hatfield to a solicitor in St. Albans, some creasing, with 1d pl.152 (SG8) lettered LL, just touched at upper left otherwise fine margins and tied indistict numeral cancellation. On reverse St-Albans date stamp JU 21 1853. (Ref 141424).
