1955 8½D GREY QEII REGISTERED ENVELOPE LONDON TO BUENOS AIRES WITH KGVI 2/6 YELLOW-GREEN (SG509), 5S RED (SG510) AND 10S ULTRAMARINE (SG511). Good used QEII 8½d grey registered envelope sent air mail London to Buenos Aires uprated with Wildings ½d orange and 1s bistre-brown, also fine KGVI 2/6 yellow-green (SG509), 5s red (SG510) and 10s ultramarine (SG511) with 'REGISTERED/GT PORTLAND STREET' oval date stamps 30 AUG 55. On front customs label. Envelope with peripheral faults but a very rare franking paying the 15 x 1/3d rate and 6d registration. (Ref 141248).
