1943 REGISTERED AIR MAIL LONDON TO BOMBAY, INDIA WITH 3D PALE VIOLET AND 10S ULTRAMARINE (SG478b). Large envelope, 252 x 164mm, some toning, sent registered air mail London to Volkart Brothers in Bombay, India with 3d pale violet (SG490) and fine 10s ultramarine (SG478b) tied light strikes 'LEADENHALL ST/REGISTERED/E.C.8' oval undated hand stamps. At left censor label and on reverse 'BOMBAY' date stamp 30 JLY 43. Rare usage of the 10s ultramarine to India. (Ref 141224).
