America' endorsed 'By Steamer to New York from Liverpool' with 1d pale red transitional issue (SG38) x 2 lettered RH and OG, 6d lilac (SG68), wing margin cut at left and 2d blue pl.5 (SG34) x 2 lettered JI JJ, all neatly cancelled fine strikes London '8' Inland Office numeral. On front Liverpool date stamp JY 26 in black and U.S. '5/CENTS' hand stamp in red. Attractive three colour combination. (Ref 141026).
