Envelope from Kirkoswald, Cumberland to Chicago with 2½d Jubilee (SG201) tied good strike 'KIRKOSWALD/CUMB/H86' duplex OC 1 94, undelivered in the US with various instructional hand stamps including 'ADVERTISED/OCT27' and 'DEAD LETTER' triangular hand stamp. On reverse 'CHICAGO' date stamp OCT 11 1894. Accompanied by 'OHMS/RETURNED LETTER OFFICE' envelope used to return undelivered mail to sender. Some creasing. (Ref 140976).
