Fine London postcard in brown to 'Miss Spalding, 4 High Street, Chelmsford, Essex' with KGV ½d tied very fine strike 'FIRST UNITED KINGDOM/AERIAL POST LONDON' date stamp SP 9 1911 die 2. Minor bend. On reverse poem reads ' How better reach the dainty liar, Where dwells my Fairy Queen so fair, Than launch my greetings in the Air'. Good usage. (Ref 140843).
