1847 MAIL BIGGLESWADE TO WINDSOR WITH 'Potton/Penny Post' HAND STAMP (BE228). Envelope Biggleswade to 'Thos. Bachelor Esq, Windsor' (Castle) with 1d (SG8) lettered AJ, touched at lower left otherwise good to enormous margins and tied indistinct numeral cancellation. On front light strike 'Potton/Penny Post' hand stamp in red (BE228), on reverse 'BIGGLESWADE' date stamp MR 23 1847. Slight creasing. (Ref 138977).
